Registrar Provenance Deadline

The Donor Relations team phoned and asked me to pull provenance and condition notes for [N=three] newly accessioned items before the [meeting=3pm] registrar meeting. I’m the only curator on duty and I’m terrified of missing a donor clause or an old conservator’s caveat that would embarrass the museum. Look at the accession entries, attached invoices, and photos, identify the single line or two I must show the registrar to prove chain of custody and current condition, flag anything that needs immediate correction, and tell me whether it’s safe to present these as ‘clear provenance’ or if I must postpone and say ‘under review’. I will not invent donor names or overrule legal — advise the conservative choice.
