Transfer Signing Rights

[legal] will reject vague delegation language. Insert a precise clause into the [agreement] that transfers my signature authority to [delegate=Rahul Patel], state the scope and expiry of that delegation, reference the director’s authorization, and update the signature block so the counterparty sees [delegate]’s credentials and contact details.

The supplier requires a named delegate and our legal team requires clear scope. I have an internal email approving delegation but no formal clause. Advise whether to add a delegation clause inside the agreement or attach a separate letter of authority, explain the legal trade-offs, draft the exact clause or letter naming [delegate=Rahul Patel] with [scope] and [expiration], and tell me which option is likeliest to pass vendor and legal review without delay.
