Upload a new video

I have a finished 9-minute lesson on chord progressions. Upload the MP4 file to the channel, choose the Music Lessons playlist, add English captions I’ll attach after upload, set the thumbnail to the attached image, and schedule the Premiere for Friday at 10:00 AM Pacific. Before finishing, check the upload processed through 1080p and that the description includes the lesson resources link and my Patreon link.

Before I upload this lesson, make it easiest for a first-time learner to find what they need: list the three timestamps in the first lines, surface downloadable sheet music link, and flag any visual gaps where I should add captioning. Also suggest a short onboarding line that promises what they’ll learn in one sentence to put at the top of the description.

I just exported a 9:00 MP4 of a chord progressions lesson and the deadline is Friday 10:00 AM Pacific for the Premiere. I’m worried the upload will fail or processing will stall and wreck the schedule. I don’t know if the file size or codec will cause trouble, and I can’t re-export overnight. Every time I promise a Friday 10:00 AM Premiere I scramble because uploads and processing push me past the deadline. I lose audience momentum and credibility. What habit or checklist should I adopt so I stop leaving uploads to the last day, what exact lead times should I require for exports and processing for 9–12 minute lessons, and how do I set a simple escalation rule when processing stalls?
