The main benefit of 'Share for Review' is that it automatically collects all comments from different reviewers into one single PDF file. If you email a PDF, each reviewer sends back their own marked-up copy. Then you have to manually combine all those separate files and comments. 'Share for Review' saves a lot of time and effort by doing this for you, making the review process much smoother and more organized.
Yes, reviewers can still participate even if they do not have the full Adobe Acrobat desktop application. They can access and comment on the shared PDF using a web browser. They will need to sign in with an Adobe ID, which is free to create. This makes it easy for anyone to join the review process.
'Share for Review' helps you track progress by showing you the status in a special area. You can go to the 'Shared by you' section within Adobe Acrobat. Here, you will see who has opened the document, who has added comments, and who has not yet responded. This allows you to easily follow up with reviewers who are still pending.
It is important for reviewers to sign in when using 'Share for Review' because it helps track who made which comments. When reviewers sign in, their comments are linked to their identity. This makes it clear who said what, which is very helpful for discussing feedback and making decisions. It also ensures the security and privacy of the review process.
