An attachment in a PDF is a file that is stored inside the PDF document. This is useful because it keeps related files, like delivery proofs or receipts, together with the main PDF. It helps you organize and share everything in one place, so nothing gets lost.
You need to use the Protect feature before sharing a PDF with attachments to make sure no private or sensitive information is included by mistake. Attachments are saved inside the PDF, so if they have personal data, it will travel with the file. Using Protect helps you clean or remove anything you do not want others to see, which keeps your information safe.
