I have three contracts scanned with inconsistent margins. Crop the odd pages in [FileA.pdf], [FileB.pdf], and [FileC.pdf] to remove extra white space while keeping all signatures visible, and save each as a cropped version by [deadline=Tuesday].

Receivers will compare these three contracts; mismatched layouts look unprofessional. Uniformly crop the scanned margins across the three files so headers, footers, and signature blocks align visually. Note any page where cropping would touch signatures and leave that page unchanged with an [annotation] explaining why.

The design review depends on the [spec]; if cropping removes figure labels we'll get pushback. Check page [page=2] for text and diagram overlap, advise whether to crop the banner or recreate the page, and then either crop safely and output [filename=Spec_Cropped.pdf] with a screenshot of the preserved diagrams or recommend the minimal manual edits required and the estimated [time] for each option.

FAQ

about this task
  1. Open Edit and select Crop pages.
  2. Drag the rectangle to cover what you want to keep.
  3. Apply the crop to hide the rest.

Cropping a PDF page in Adobe Acrobat hides parts of the page outside the crop box, so only the area you want to see is visible. This is useful for removing extra space, borders, or information you do not want to show when sharing or printing a PDF.

  • Cropping can hide the blurry edges by only showing the clear part.
  • The blurry parts are still in the file but will not be visible.
  • You can use cropping to make your PDF look cleaner.

If you want to make sure the hidden parts are removed forever, you should use the Sanitize option in the Protect menu after cropping. This will delete all hidden data so no one can recover it from your PDF.
