Adding headers and footers helps organize your document. They can show important details like page numbers, dates, or titles on every page. This makes it easier for readers to navigate and understand your document's structure, especially for longer files.
Yes, when you use the 'Header and Footer' feature in Adobe Acrobat, you can add more than just page numbers. The tool allows you to insert dates or titles at the same time. You can place them in different spots on the page, like the header or footer area, to customize your document's look.
Adjusting margins is important because it prevents your page numbers or headers/footers from covering up the main text of your document. If margins are too small, the added text might overlap with your content, making it hard to read. Proper margins ensure everything is clear and well-spaced.
Adding page numbers using the 'Header and Footer' feature automatically numbers all pages and adjusts if you add or remove pages. Typing them manually means you have to go to each page and type the number yourself. If you change your document, you would need to re-type all numbers. The automatic feature saves time and prevents mistakes, especially for long documents.
