This runs in the Acrobat app - there is no separate API for this task.
When you distribute a form, Acrobat automatically makes a special Portfolio. This Portfolio is like a folder that keeps your original form and all the collected responses together in one place. It helps you stay organized.
If you send your form to many people, you should choose to collect responses on a server. This is better than using your email inbox. Collecting on a server helps you avoid your email inbox getting too full and makes it easier to manage a large number of responses.
Acrobat creates a spreadsheet when you 'View Responses' so you can easily see all the answers in one clear place. This makes it simple to analyze the information from everyone who filled out your form, as all submissions are exported into one file.
