Select Home from the left navigation pane.
Under Agreements, click Adobe Acrobat Sign.
Locate the agreement you want to track in the list of documents.

| Type | Description | When to Use |
|---|---|---|
| SEQUENTIAL | Signers get the document one after another, in a specific order. | For approvals where one person must sign before the next, like a chain of command. |
| PARALLEL | All signers get the document at the same time. | When the order of signatures does not matter, and everyone can sign at once. |
Adding authentication, like an email or SMS code, makes your e-signature request more secure. It confirms that the person signing is truly who they say they are. This is very important for valuable or sensitive agreements, as it adds an extra layer of trust and legal protection to the signed document.
The Acrobat Sign API is a tool for developers to connect other software with Acrobat Sign. It allows you to automate tasks like sending documents for e-signature, tracking their status, and managing agreements directly from your own applications. This means you can integrate e-signature workflows into existing business systems, making the process faster and more efficient without manual steps.
