The tool

The Resize feature in Adobe Express allows you to adjust the dimensions of your designs, images, and pages.

  1. 1

  3. 3

For an image within a design, select the image layer and tap the crop tool.

  4. 4

Choose a size template or enter custom dimensions in the Resize panel.

Best practiceTo avoid image distortion, maintain the original aspect ratio by scaling proportionally.

  5. 5

To maintain proportions, ensure Lock proportions or Maintain Aspect Ratio is selected.

  6. 6

Adjust the dimensions using the handles or by typing in new values.

  7. 7

If resizing an image, use your fingers to adjust its position within the frame.

Because you rarely think 'I want the redaction tool'. You think 'I have to share this without leaking the client's details'. Start from the need, and the feature finds you.

Real. Every job here was drawn from what people in real roles were actually seen doing in Express — not a feature checklist.

No. Each page gives you a ready prompt you can paste into an AI assistant, plus the plain steps to do it yourself. Start with either — the goal is the finished job, not the tool.
