Perspective Warp

Perspective Warp allows you to non-destructively adjust the perspective of objects and scenes within an image.

    Select the image layer you want to adjust in the Layers panel.

    NoteFor non-destructive editing, convert the layer to a Smart Object first via Filter > Convert for Smart Filters.

    Go to Edit > Perspective Warp from the top menu.

    CautionIf Perspective Warp is greyed out, ensure your graphics processor is enabled in Photoshop preferences.

    CautionIf still greyed out, try turning off View > Extras (Ctrl+H or Cmd+H), then re-enable Extras after starting Perspective Warp.

    In Layout mode, click and drag to draw quads (rectangular planes) along the surfaces you want to adjust.

    NoteThese quads define the planes whose perspective you will manipulate.

    Drag the corners (pins) of the quads to align them precisely with the perspective lines in your image.

    NoteHold Shift while dragging a quad edge to constrain it, helping to maintain parallel lines.

    Press the W key or click the Warp button in the options bar to switch to Warp mode.

    Drag the corner pins of the quads to manipulate the perspective and reshape the image content.

    Best practiceAvoid overcorrecting; a 'perfectly straight' object on screen might look unnatural due to camera angle.

    Hold down the Shift key while dragging a pin to change the perspective more dramatically.

    Click the checkmark icon in the options bar or press Enter (Windows) / Return (Mac) to apply the warp.

Use the 'L' and 'W' keys to quickly toggle between Layout and Warp modes while using Perspective Warp.

Perspective Warp is an interactive tool and cannot be directly automated via scripting or actions in Photoshop.
