Blending Modes

Blending Modes in Adobe Photoshop control how pixels of one layer interact with pixels on underlying layers.

    Open your image in Adobe Photoshop.

    In the Layers panel, ensure you have at least two layers.

    NoteBlending Modes require at least two layers to work effectively.

    Select the top layer in the Layers panel that you want to blend.

    Click the Blend Mode menu at the top of the Layers panel.

    Hover over different blend modes in the menu to preview their effect.
