Refine Edge

The Refine Edge tool helps you precisely adjust the edges of a selection, especially for complex details like hair or fur.

    Open an image in Quick or Expert mode.

    Make an initial selection of the object or area you want to refine.

    Best practiceFor best results, start with a duplicate layer before making your initial selection.

    Click Select and Mask in the top menu.

    NoteThis opens the Properties tab and the Refine Edge tool settings.
