with the jobs and tasks they touch

Use the 'Replace Color' tool or adjustment layers like Hue/Saturation. Duplicate your layer, then change colors on each to compare options. This speeds up choosing the best colorway without reshooting.

Create color variants before final presentation or client review. This helps show options quickly and avoids delays or reshoots. For example, a fashion designer might do this after initial sketches.

Work on duplicate layers or use adjustment layers. These keep your original intact, so you can easily revert or try different colors. This is essential when testing options for branding projects.

Applying global adjustments directly to the original layer, which makes reverting difficult. Always work on duplicates or adjustment layers to keep your options open.

A graphic designer or art director often creates multiple color variants to compare options before final approval, especially in branding or packaging projects.

AI can help suggest color schemes or automate some adjustments, but fine-tuning and choosing the best option still require human judgment and design skill.

Recoloring or adjusting colors focuses on the subject, while replacing skies or backgrounds involves swapping entire layers or backgrounds. Both are common editing tasks in Photoshop.
