We repeatedly send photos that don't align to architectural drawings and architects keep sending them back. I want a standard workflow to produce measurement-trustworthy photos. Diagnose the recurring distortion mistakes across our last projects, prescribe the one perspective correction approach and one cross-check against drawings to make the images dimensionally reliable, and suggest how to log corrected images so architects trust them on first send.
when the reply comes backPush once: ask it to sharpen the weakest part, and to say what it assumed.

Choose a polishing approach based on the flaw's visibility and the overall mood. For a night scene, aim for natural look without over-smoothing. Use different tools like the Spot Healing Brush or Frequency Separation depending on the flaw's size and nature.

Photojournalists should polish only minor flaws that distract from the story, especially if the flaw pulls attention away from the main subject. For example, cleaning a distracting background element helps focus the viewer on the cityscape.

Use subtle adjustments, like low-opacity retouching or gentle blurring, to preserve details. Overdoing smoothing or cloning can make the image look plastic or unnatural. Always compare before and after to keep it realistic.

The common mistake is over-smoothing or over-sharpening, which can make the photo look unnatural. It's better to focus on fixing the flaw discreetly and maintaining the photo's original feel.

A portrait retoucher or a photographer working on city scenes usually chooses the polishing method to make images look clean and professional. For a city shot, a retoucher might soften light reflections or clean noise.

AI can suggest a starting point, but you should fine-tune the approach manually. AI tools may identify flaws or recommend settings, but skilled users decide the best look for the scene and style.

Restoring archival photos often involves removing damage like tears or stains, requiring more conservative blending. Choosing a polishing approach for a city shot focuses on subtle flaw correction without changing the scene's integrity.
