Stores routinely edit locked graphic elements, creating inconsistent visuals. Identify the user behaviour causing this and recommend one structural template change—use of locked smart objects with editable text layers, enforced color swatches, or a cloud-based template with permissions—that prevents misuse but allows local flexibility. Describe rollout and expected drop in correction cycles.

The real tasks

1 of them
I've been handing out templates that get edited into brand-incoherence. I want to stop that and build a template strategy that keeps control but doesn't slow stores. What client-side behaviour keeps biting us and what's one structural change to templates that will prevent misuse while preserving flexibility?

Questions people ask

honest answers

Because you rarely think 'I want the redaction tool'. You think 'I have to share this without leaking the client's details'. Start from the need, and the feature finds you.

Real. Every job here was drawn from what people in real roles were actually seen doing in Photoshop — not a feature checklist.

No. Each page gives you a ready prompt you can paste into an AI assistant, plus the plain steps to do it yourself. Start with either — the goal is the finished job, not the tool.
