Presenter View

Presenter View allows you to see your speaker notes and control your presentation privately while your audience sees only the slides.

    Open your presentation in PowerPoint.

    Select the Slide Show tab on the ribbon.

    In the Monitors group, select the Use Presenter View checkbox.

    NoteThis checkbox controls whether Presenter View is active.

    Start the presentation by selecting From Beginning or pressing F5.

    If Presenter View is not visible, select More options (three dots) and then Show presenter view.

    To swap what is shown on each display, select Display Settings and then Swap Presenter View and Slide Show.

    Best practiceThis is useful when rehearsing with a single screen and a projector, showing notes on your main screen while the projector shows the slides.

    Use the arrows next to the slide to navigate through your presentation.

When rehearsing, use Presenter View to practice your delivery while seeing your notes and upcoming slides without your audience seeing them.

PowerPoint's Presenter View is a user interface feature and is not directly exposed for automation through an API.
