Assist in case preparation

I’ve drafted the witness summary and evidence list for the case. Send the file to Senior Counsel Olivia Park and then to the paralegal, James O’Neill, for bundle assembly, in that order, with a Wednesday deadline. Check that dates match the timestamps, every exhibit has an index entry, and the chain-of-custody notes are present before sending.

Before I hand this to Olivia in case prep, make the file easier to use in court: put the key chronology and the single dispositive fact up front, convert the long narrative into bullet points tied to specific documents, flag any hearsay or unverified statements that would make Olivia hesitate, and ensure every exhibit has a short caption for the judge to read quickly.

I emailed the draft witness pack and Olivia replied that two exhibits appear to lack chain-of-custody notes. I think they exist but were not attached; I’m afraid this undermines our trial readiness and I can’t tell Olivia they might be in a separate folder. What is the most likely reason they were missed and what quick verification and communication should I do to restore confidence and keep the timeline?
