Prepare and submit regulatory documents

Prepare and file the regulatory submission for the animal use amendment by Wednesday. Assemble the revised protocol text, the updated pain-management plan, species counts, and the completed IACUC forms; run a quick consistency check across the document sections and attach the signed veterinarian memo before submission.

Before I submit this amendment to the committee, make the document reviewer-friendly: put the change summary and rationale on the first page, list exactly what is new or removed, mark any new procedures that need justification, and flag any missing attachments so the committee can approve without sending it back for clarification.

I filed an amendment and the IACUC reviewer asked for stronger justification of a new minor surgical technique. I'm the protocol owner and worry we'll get delayed again.
