Chapter 15 — Parallel Structure
What is parallel structure?
Items joined in a list, a pair or a comparison should share the same shape — "swimming, cycling and running", not "swimming, cycling and to run". Find the joint, name each item's shape, and make them match. Learn lists and series, to or -ing, either-or and not only-but also, comparisons, bullet points, and parallelism for rhythm and persuasion, for ages 5 to 19.
