About the Meta & Mindset
The five questions parents ask first when their child arrives here.
Meta reasoning is the muscle that thinks about thinking. Not 'what is the answer' but 'how am I deciding it'? It is the foundation of self-awareness, ethics, critical thinking, and the kind of long-view judgement that separates a good thinker from a fast one.
Children who pause before they answer, who change their mind without shame, who are curious about why people disagree. Meta-thinkers wonder about the wondering itself.
Starter activities introduce one scenario at a time and ask the child to pick how they would respond. Regulars judge real arguments and ask the child to steelman the other side. Stretches connect ideas across domains — like seeing predator-prey dynamics in financial markets.
That is the point. The Meta Division has scenarios and judgement calls, not single correct answers. The child learns that good thinking is not always about being right — sometimes it is about being thoughtful.
Because it is harder to learn later. Self-awareness, intellectual humility, and the willingness to change one's mind are habits that form young or do not form at all. Meta puzzles plant the seeds early.
