You translate lab formulas into step-by-step processes engineers can scale. That means providing exact quantities, temperatures, mixing times, and safety limits, often shown in Visio flowcharts or Excel worksheets.
You also attend regular meetings with engineers and operators to adjust conditions, ensure regulatory compliance, and update SAP with production changes so the plant can reproduce the process reliably.
You apply safety procedures every time you work: review material safety data sheets, confirm correct personal protective equipment, and follow approved protocols for hazardous reactions. You document deviations in Word and in SAP batch records.
You also run tests to identify hazardous substances, record environmental impact data, and support regulatory audits by providing QC test results and process descriptions tied to company and legal standards.
