Start with the imaging systems: the X‑ray room console, CT scanner interface, and the fluoroscope controls. Learn DICOM software or the modality manager to send and retrieve studies and how to troubleshoot basic transfer failures.

Next learn the EMR (often MEDITECH) to pull orders, enter exam notes, and record patient reactions. Basic Microsoft Word/Outlook/Excel skills help for reports, scheduling, and quality‑control logs. Film processor tracking exists in places that still use film.
