Use the Blend tool for transitions

Before I hand this to motion, make the blend review-friendly: surface the start and end shapes, list the number of blend steps, and flag any gradient or stroke-width changes that could create banding. Show a two-frame preview and suggest whether we should expand the blend now or let motion animate it later.

I expanded a Blend and the client flagged visible banding in the exported SVG. I have the original vectors and the expanded result, but I don’t know whether the issue is step count, color space, or stroke handling. I’m worried the designer will redo the whole asset and we’ll miss the Friday release. What sequence of checks and fixes will pinpoint and eliminate the banding without rebuilding the concept?

On several projects we discover post-export that blends suffer banding or lost strokes, which means rebuilding and re-approvals. I need a habit change so blends are export-safe first time. What template settings, blend conventions, and preflight checks should we standardize so designers avoid common export failures and handoffs are predictable?
