Add lower thirds

Add a lower third for the speaker intro. Use the template Client_LowerThird_v3, set the name to Daniel Reyes and title to Head of Growth, animate the slide-in from the left over 10 frames, ensure it’s legible over footage with a semi-opaque 65-percent background bar, and export a quick-time with alpha to Deliverables/LowerThirds by Friday.

Before I send these lower thirds to the client, make approval painless. Put the speaker name first in bold, show how each lower third looks on three sample shots (close, medium, wide) so legibility is clear, and flag any names longer than 25 characters that will need tweaked type scaling.

I dropped in the template lower third for Daniel Reyes and the producer says longer names will wrap awkwardly for future guests. I don’t know whether to change type size, shorten titles, or rework the bar width. What’s the quickest rule to apply now that keeps names readable and keeps the graphics consistent episode to episode?

We repeatedly get stuck fixing lower thirds when guest names or titles exceed the template limits, which delays sign-off. Where is our template failing, and what single template change or naming policy will stop layout breaks without forcing a manual fix every episode?
