Set file-level notifications

I need file-level notifications set on a shared sales folder so the account team sees changes. Turn on alerts for edits and comments on these five documents: Q1 forecast.xlsx, Outreach templates.docx, Deal pipeline.slides, Contract Master.docx, and Pricing Annex.pdf. Notify the sales-lead Priya first, then the account manager Carlos, and include me. Make notifications daily digest except immediate for comments that mention Priya. Check the settings before confirming.

I flipped on edit and comment alerts for the Acme sales folder and added Priya, Carlos and myself. Priya just replied that she’ll ignore high-volume alerts. I’m worried we’ll miss action items and that she’ll stop reading anything from us. I don’t know how much noise she’s willing to tolerate or which files are truly critical. What's the likely cause and the best way to reduce noise while keeping her accountable?

Every quarter I enable notifications across multiple client folders and within weeks everyone tunes them out or mutes them. We lose traction on real asks and then scramble.
