Test form flow and logic

I need the research survey to flow correctly through branching. Walk the form from the start as a respondent, answer the branching questions to trigger every path, and confirm each conditional section appears in order and that navigation returns correctly when using the browser back button. List any dead ends or sections that never show.

Before I publish this operational checklist, test the form flow so reviewers can approve without guessing: exercise each conditional branch, surface the point where a respondent can get caught in a loop, highlight questions that lead to surprising sections, and recommend rewording any trigger question that could be misread and send reviewers a short map of the branch logic.

A pilot user reported that after answering a branching question they were sent to a later section and couldn’t return to change the earlier answer; the result was wrong data and the lab will blame me for unusable responses. I’m not sure whether the form’s section breaks, ‘go to section’ settings, or browser behavior caused it. What steps should I take immediately to reproduce the problem, fix the flow, and communicate the safe temporary workaround to the research team?
