Collect application submissions

Set up the application intake so student fellowship submissions go into one database with name, school, email, project title, and a PDF upload. Make the deadline field mandatory and create a view that shows only complete submissions for Priya in Admissions to review by Monday.

Before opening the call for submissions, make the application easier to screen: add an auto-flag for missing recommendation letters, surface the applicant’s pitch summary at the top of the record, and create a shortlist view that ranks by GPA and relevance so reviewers can triage quickly.

We just began collecting fellowship applications and Admissions says many records come in incomplete and reviewers waste time finding recommendation letters. I don’t know whether the form is confusing or applicants are skipping steps. What is the most likely cause and the quickest change to reduce incomplete submissions before the deadline?

Each application cycle we lose days chasing missing transcripts and recommendation letters, slowing decisions and frustrating reviewers. Where are we losing time in the intake flow, and what single habit or rule can I enforce so future cohorts submit complete applications and reviewers stop doing manual checks?
