Create and send a payment link

I need to bill my client for a final invoice. Create the payment link for Invoice 2026-115 from my account to send to Marco Rossi at Rossi Design by Friday so funds arrive within three business days. Before emailing him, verify the amount is €1,450.00, the description reads Website redesign final milestone, and the link expires in 14 days.

Before I send this payment link to Marco in procurement, make approval obvious: surface the net amount and currency at the top, show the invoice number and due date immediately, list fees the payer will see, and flag anything that could make a reviewer hesitate (partial payments allowed, refund policy, or mismatched billing address).

I created a payment link for Invoice 2026-115 and Marco Rossi replied that the total he sees is different. He’s the one who will pay; I’m afraid I mis-set the currency or included fees. I cannot tell if the discrepancy is from my settings, his bank’s conversion, or my invoice. Diagnose the likely cause and tell me the next steps to fix it and communicate clearly to Marco.

Across the last six invoices several clients complained about unexpected conversion fees or wrong currency on my payment links. I lose time recreating links and credibility when payments are delayed. What habit should I change in how I prepare and present links so amounts are clear, conversion and platform fees are visible up front, and approvals happen first time?
