Manage supplier performance scores

The quarter closed; update supplier performance scores so procurement and category managers can see final ratings by Monday. Pull delivered-on-time percentage, defect incidents, and invoice accuracy for 47 suppliers for April–June, recalc weighted score, attach supporting delivery logs, and publish the updated scorecard to the vendor dashboard — notify Maria in procurement and Raj, the category manager, that scores are posted.

Before I publish supplier scores to procurement, surface the vendor’s biggest problem so Maria can act quickly: put the on-time delivery percentage and defect incident count at the top, show the three invoices that failed accuracy checks, and highlight any score changes over 10 points. Flag any supplier with repeated late deliveries in the last three quarters and add one-line recommended next steps for each flagged supplier.

We ran scores and three suppliers dropped by more than 8 points, but some delivery logs are incomplete and Maria will ask why. I cannot tell if the drop is data error or real performance decline. Is the likely cause bad data mapping or genuine delivery problems? What should I check right now to decide whether to freeze scores or publish with a caveat?

Every quarter I spend days cleaning delivery and invoice data before scores can be trusted. Where do we consistently lose time and credibility — in extraction, vendor IDs, or SLAs — and what one habit change would prevent the same firefight next quarter?
