Repeat steps 3–7, but in step 5 select Even Pages Only and enter the distinct header/footer content for even pages.
You can use the Page Range Options to target only odd or even pages when adding headers or footers.
This runs in the Acrobat app - there is no separate API for this task.
In Adobe Acrobat, you can set up different headers and footers for odd and even pages by using the 'Header & Footer' tool and selecting the option to show different content on odd and even pages. This helps you customize each side of your document.
Different headers and footers make your document easier to read, especially in books or reports, because they help readers know where they are and make the layout look more professional.
You can use both images and text in headers and footers. For example, you might add a logo or page number to make your document look better.
In Microsoft Word, you can easily set up different headers and footers for odd and even pages while editing your document, but in Adobe Acrobat, you add them to a finished PDF, and the options may look different.
Headers and footers might not appear if some pages are set up differently or if you didn't select all pages when adding them. Always check your settings to make sure they apply to the whole document.
