Reviewers can add comments directly in the shared PDF, and you will see their feedback in real time within Acrobat.
This runs in the Acrobat app - there is no separate API for this task.
The main benefit of Share for Review is that it automatically combines all comments from different people into one single file. If you email PDFs, you would have to manually go through each person's marked-up document and combine their feedback yourself. Share for Review saves a lot of time and effort by streamlining the comment collection process, ensuring you have one master file with all feedback.
When you share a PDF for review, Acrobat helps you keep track. You can look in the 'Shared by you' area within the application. This section shows you the status of your shared reviews, including who has responded and added their comments. You will also get notifications when reviewers make contributions.
