When you send one document to many signers without 'Send in Bulk', all signers often see each other or share the same document. With 'Send in Bulk', one parent template creates up to 1,000 independent child agreements. Each signer gets a unique document, and their signing process is private. This means signers do not see who else received the document, ensuring privacy and individual audit trails for each agreement.
Each 'child agreement' created by 'Send in Bulk' is a separate, legally distinct document. It has its own audit trail and is managed individually. Because of this, each child agreement is counted as a separate transaction. This ensures the integrity and legal validity of every signed document, but it also means you need to monitor your plan's transaction limits.
No, 'Send in Bulk' can generate up to 1,000 independent child agreements from one parent template. If you need to send 2,000 contracts, you would need to run the 'Send in Bulk' process twice. This means splitting your recipient list into two groups, each with a maximum of 1,000 recipients, and initiating two separate bulk send requests.
A CSV (Comma Separated Values) file is a simple text file that stores data in a table format. For 'Send in Bulk', it is very useful because you can list many recipients and their specific details in one file. This helps you quickly set up roles, authentication methods, and even default field values for each signer without typing them one by one.
