I need to set up an automated bulk send for routine supplier agreements so renewals go out on schedule. Outline a prag…
Open Adobe Acrobat and sign in to your account.
Go to the Home screen and select Agree or Send for signature.
Click on Send to multiple recipients.
Select Choose files and upload the document you want each recipient to sign.
Enter an agreement name and customize the message to recipients if needed.
Click Add recipients and enter the names and email addresses of each person you want to sign the document.
Best practiceYou can paste a list of email addresses or upload a CSV file for large recipient lists.
Review the recipient list and document, then click Send to send individual copies for signature.
NoteEach recipient receives their own unique copy to sign, and you can track the status of each agreement.
You can monitor the status of each recipient’s signature from the Manage tab after sending in bulk.
This runs in the Acrobat app - there is no separate API for this task.
A child agreement is a separate, unique document created for each signer when you use Bulk Send. It matters because each child agreement has its own audit trail, meaning you can track each signer's actions independently. Also, each child agreement counts as a separate transaction, which is important for understanding your usage limits.
No, when you use Bulk Send, signers will not see each other's information. Each person receives their own independent child agreement. This ensures privacy and keeps each signing process separate, even though they all came from the same parent template.
Using a CSV file for Bulk Send is much faster and more efficient when you have many recipients. Beyond just adding names, a CSV allows you to define roles for each signer, set up different authentication methods, and even pre-fill default field values specific to each recipient. This saves a lot of time and reduces errors compared to manual entry for large groups.
