Header & Footer helps you add important information like page numbers, dates, or document titles to your PDF. This makes your documents look professional and helps people organize and navigate them easily. It ensures consistent branding and information across all pages.
When you use the Header & Footer feature, look for the 'Page Range Options' or similar settings in the dialog box. This lets you choose 'All pages', 'From' a specific page 'To' another, or even 'Even pages' or 'Odd pages'. Always set this correctly before you click 'OK' to apply the changes, so only your chosen pages are affected.
Adjusting margins is important to prevent your headers or footers from covering existing text or images on the page. If the margins are too small, the new text might overlap, making your document hard to read. Proper margins ensure everything is clear and well-placed.
Yes, the Header & Footer feature in Acrobat allows this. When you are in the 'Add Header and Footer' dialog, you can set up a header/footer for odd pages, and then repeat the process to set a different one for even pages. Look for the 'Page Range Options' and select 'Odd pages only' or 'Even pages only' for each setup.
