Open the PDF document you want to share for review in Adobe Acrobat.
Select the option to share the document for review by clicking the Share button in the toolbar or right-hand panel.
Choose the method for sharing, such as selecting an option to invite people or generate a link for reviewers.
Enter the email addresses of your reviewers, or copy and share the generated link as needed.
Set any desired permissions or deadlines for the review process.
Send the invitation or share the link to begin the shared review.
Reviewers can add comments directly in the shared PDF, and you will see their feedback in real time within Acrobat.
This runs in the Acrobat app - there is no separate API for this task.
The main benefit of Shared Review is that Acrobat automatically collects all comments from different reviewers into one single file. This saves you a lot of time and effort because you don't have to manually combine comments from many separate PDF files, which can be a very difficult task.
When you share a PDF for review, you can easily track who has commented. Simply go to the 'Shared by you' section in Acrobat. This area shows you the status of your shared reviews and who has responded.
Shared Review is much better than emailing PDF copies because it simplifies the feedback process. When you email copies, you get many different files back, each with comments. You then have to manually combine all those comments. With Shared Review, Acrobat does this for you, putting all comments into one main file automatically. This makes managing feedback much easier and faster.
| Sharing Method | Who can access | Security |

| Named people | Only specific people you invite can open and comment on the PDF. | More secure, as access is restricted to chosen individuals. |
