Open Adobe Acrobat and sign in to your account.
Select Home from the left navigation pane.
Under Agreements, click Adobe Acrobat Sign.
Locate the agreement you want to track in the list of documents.
Select the checkbox next to the agreement you want to monitor.
View the right pane for real-time status updates, including which recipients have signed and which are pending.
NoteYou can also see a complete history of actions taken on the agreement.
Best practiceIf you frequently send agreements to multiple recipients, use the status column to quickly scan which documents are awaiting signatures versus completed. This is especially helpful for high-volume workflows.

| Signing Order | Description | When to Use |
|---|---|---|
| Sequential | Signers receive the document one after another in a specific order. | For approvals where one person must sign before the next, like a manager then a director. |
| Parallel | All signers receive the document at the same time. | When the order of signatures does not matter, and everyone can sign independently. |
It is very important to check that every attached document has a signature field. If a document is missing a signature field, the request will often fail, and the recipient will not be able to sign it. This is the most common reason why e-signature requests do not work as expected, causing delays.
