Develop long-term financial plans

Prepare the five-year financial plan for the construction division and send it to Priya in finance and to Dan, the CFO, for review with the slide notes — finish a complete draft by Wednesday so they can approve assumptions at Thursday’s meeting.

Before I share this long-term plan with the board, surface the net cash position and covenant headroom on page one, make growth and cost assumptions scannable, and flag any assumptions that would make the bank’s covenants breach-significant to a credit reviewer.

I just increased product-line growth from 4% to 8% across years three to five and the debt service coverage dropped sharply. I’m worried I’ve linked the wrong debt tranche or used the wrong interest schedule, and I can’t tell which formula broke the DSCR. What is the most likely place the error lives and what targeted check will quickly confirm it?

Every quarterly reforecast I duplicate the master plan and rebuild scenario sensitivity tables, costing me half a day and introducing link errors. Which habit or worksheet structure should I change so scenario updates are faster, auditable, and less error-prone?
