Mow lawns and trim grass

Cut the scheduled lawns at the west campus and trim the east field edge tomorrow, then log hours and area mowed in the maintenance spreadsheet and send it to Cara in scheduling and Luke in finance for their signatures by Friday; before sending, verify the area totals match the mowing map and that fuel usage is recorded.

Before I distribute the mowing report to scheduling and finance, make it easy for them to approve: put total acres and hours at the top, show fuel used and cost per hour, and flag any runs that exceeded planned time so a reviewer can sign without paging through row-level data.

The east field mow took 30 minutes longer than the schedule indicated and Cara will want an explanation. I don’t know if it was due to ground conditions, operator changeover, or an equipment issue. What’s the most likely cause and what single column should I add to the spreadsheet that will make Cara accept the extra time?

I keep wasting time reconciling hours because area figures change after crews submit run sheets. Over the season that adds one full day of admin per month. What one habit should I change in how runs are planned or recorded so totals are reliable the first time?
