Verify the diagram shows primary and secondary exits, the assembly point outside the main gate, wheelchair-accessible routes, and the assigned floor wardens’ names and phone numbers. If anything is unclear, flag it and draft the exact wording I can take to facilities for approval.

Before I hand this evacuation plan to facilities, make it easy for a reviewer to approve: put the assembly point and primary exit in bold at the top, annotate any corridor narrower than 36 inches, highlight any steps or thresholds that block access, and list the last three inspection dates and outcomes so a reviewer doesn’t have to hunt for those facts.

I just got facilities’ note that the secondary route crosses a locked corridor after 5 p.m. and two doors aren’t hardware-compliant. I’m worried if I approve the plan now we’ll be cited; if I delay, the open house signage won’t be posted. Should I mark the plan as ‘pending facilities fixes’ and proceed with temporary signage, escalate to the director for immediate change order, or rework routes now to avoid the locked corridor? What’s the safest practical next step?
