I have the lab SOP for titration here. Send the final version to Dr. Maria Alvarez in Quality and then to the lab manager, Simon Reed, for signature, in that order, with a Thursday close. Check the reagent lot numbers, the safety steps for perchloric acid, and that the calibration table recalculates correctly before sending.

Before I send this to the accreditation reviewer, make the procedure easier to follow under pressure: put the safety critical steps and required PPE at the top, convert the long paragraph on reagent prep into a numbered checklist, confirm the calibration table shows the expected range, and flag any missing lot numbers or expiry dates that would make an auditor pause.

We ran a full titration SOP through peer review and the auditor said the calibration table looks off but didn’t say why. The analyst was sure the numbers were correct. I’m worried there’s a units mismatch or a formula that breaks when volumes change. I can’t tell the reviewer that might be operator error. What likely caused the mismatch and what is the fastest clear fix I should make and tell both reviewer and lab manager?
