Mulch landscapes

The new mulch job for Building D is ready. Send the attached landscape work order to Priya in procurement and then to the grounds supervisor, Aaron Lee, for approval, in that order, with a Monday start date. Check the square metres, mulch depth, and that the plant protection notes are included before you send.

Before I hand this to the grounds supervisor, make the mulch specification easy to approve: surface the total material cost and coverage per bed up top, convert the mulch depth and volume into a simple table, note any protected plants that require hand application, and flag anything that would make procurement hesitate about delivery timing.

I sent a mulch estimate and the contractor says the quantity jumped between versions. I think someone changed the bed depths but I don’t know which document version they used. I’m worried this will delay the Monday start and irritate procurement. Which version change most likely caused the discrepancy and what’s the quickest reconciliation step I should do and communicate to the contractor and Aaron?
