Afternoons often mean site visits: supervising investigations, testing soils or materials, monitoring progress, ensuring safety standards, and liaising with clients or contractors. Start with Autodesk AutoCAD Civil 3D because you’ll use it to design hydraulic systems, compute flow rates, and produce construction drawings. Learn Microsoft Excel in parallel for load, grade, and flow calculations and for organizing survey data.
