Export layered PSDs or PDFs

Before I hand these to the print buyer, make approval effortless. Put a top-sheet PDF that lists page count, bleed, trim and color spaces. In the PSD export, keep text as editable layers and name layer groups by section (Cover, Inside spreads, Ads). Flag any missing fonts, RGB images that need converting, and any linked files over 10 MB. Attach a brief note to the folder with exact export settings used.

I exported layered PSDs for the campaign and several text layers came out flattened while other pages stayed editable. The team is watching the printer deadline and I can't tell whether it's a font, an appearance effect, or a hidden rasterization step. What is most likely causing selective flattening, what quick checks should I run now, and which fix lets me re-export without losing layout or delaying the print handoff?

Every time I package a campaign for print we spend hours re-exporting PSDs because fonts shift, spot colors lose separation, or hidden raster effects flatten layers. This costs us design time and credibility with the printer.
