Export layered SVGs

Export the layered SVGs for the interactive team by Monday: each icon and illustration must be its own SVG layer group with meaningful IDs, no embedded raster images, styles consolidated into classes, and viewBox set correctly. Deliver them in a versioned folder and email Lina with a note confirming no hidden clipping masks remain.

Before I deliver layered SVGs to the interaction engineer, make them easy to animate: move important shapes into top-level groups with short, readable IDs, remove unnecessary transforms and metadata, convert strokes to shapes only when needed and document why, and call out anything that must remain a raster (texture or photo) so animators know constraints at a glance.

Across projects we repeatedly rework exported SVGs because animators need different grouping or naming. I keep losing hours fixing IDs and unflattening shapes. What standard export habits and a brief checklist would prevent most of these requests, what naming convention should we adopt for layers and groups, and where in the workflow should an animator sign off so we don't re-export mid-sprint?
