Set the project settings for Kemp Promo April 21 to 4K 4096x2160, 23.976 fps, color space Rec.709, audio at 48 kHz, and enable maximum render quality. Change the timeline playback to use proxies for smooth editing and set the playback resolution to 1/2. Confirm the settings and save.

Before I lock settings, minimize review friction: surface what will change if I use Rec.709 vs Rec.2020, show whether timeline will require resizing 1080 B-roll, and flag any mismatched audio sample rates. Make the proxy workflow clear — who makes proxies, where they will live, and how to switch off proxies for final export.

I just changed the project color space to Rec.709 and the camera footage looks flat and crushed. The DIT delivered log files and the producer is worried about grade time.
