Duplicate projects for reuse

Duplicate the Q2 campaign project for reuse. Copy all tasks, custom fields, attachments, and dependencies, set the new project start date to August 1, reassign owners according to the attached owner map (Maya to Priya, Luis to Omar), and title it Q3 campaign copy. Before I hand it off, check that no tasks are assigned to contractors who have left and remove any archived files.

Before I duplicate the campaign, make it easy to launch. When copying, surface and let me choose which custom fields and attachments to bring over, highlight tasks with external vendor dependencies, and warn me about owners who are not in the active roster. Suggest a clean start-date shift and update task due dates by the same offset.

I duplicated the campaign but it kept the old start date and left several tasks assigned to contractors who are gone. The campaign lead won’t accept that mess. I don’t know if I missed a duplicate dialog option or if default settings changed. What should I check right now to correct start dates and reassign tasks quickly, and how do I prevent this from happening next time without losing attachments or dependencies?
