Add verbatim captions to the 1:12 interview clip named ‘Customer Testimonial 3.’ Turn on speaker identification for the two voices, place captions in lower-third with white text on 30% black bar, use 26-point Inter Regular, and ensure captions appear for every spoken sentence with no overlaps. Export an MP4 with burned-in captions and a separate SRT file labeled Testimonial3_Captions.srt.

Before I deliver this to the content strategist, make the captions easy to scan and accurate. Condense wordy filler, split long sentences into readable lines, mark the two speakers with initials, and ensure captions never cover on-screen graphics like logos. Flag any places where audio is unclear so I can confirm the transcript with the interviewee.

Auto-captions on Testimonial 3 tag the marketing lead’s lines as the customer from 0:34–0:46. The strategist will misattribute quotes and that will undermine credibility. I don’t have the raw audio separately to re-run a better pass. Should I manually relabel those lines, ask for the interviewee to confirm, or re-record the segment? Recommend the least disruptive fix that preserves accuracy.

I repeatedly finish cuts and then spend extra hours fixing captions because timing shifts after trimming. This costs me a full day per week on longer pieces. What process change will stop captions being a post-edit avalanche so I can lock picture and captions with fewer passes?
