Merge duplicate Pages

Merge the duplicate Page titled Baker Street Pastries that was created by a former employee into our official Page, preserving followers and posts where possible. Before merging, confirm Page admin rights on both, export the follower lists and recent post URLs, notify the admins of both Pages of the plan and schedule the merge for Friday afternoon. After merging, check that reviews and messages moved and report any missing content.

Before I attempt to merge this duplicate Page, make it easy for the Page reviewer to approve: surface why this is a duplicate (same storefront address and logo), list admin ownership and recent activity for each Page, call out any content that could block a merge like different business categories or multiple locations, and flag what would make a reviewer hesitate so I can fix it first.

We discovered a duplicate Page created years ago showing our same address and photos. I can request a merge, but I’m worried about losing reviews, posts, or breaking the link used in last month’s ad.
