Enable quiz mode for grading

I need this class to grade automatically. Turn on quiz mode for the midterm so answers can be scored, set the release to immediately after submission, and make student emails required so I can match work to roster. Check that the quiz is set to collect responses and that only students with the school domain can access it. Deadline: quizzes go live Monday morning.

Before I flip this into a graded quiz, make it easier for students and me: surface at the top that this is a graded quiz and how scores are released, confirm which email domain can submit, and warn if any question types won’t be auto-scored. Highlight any settings that will block late submissions or anonymous responses.

I just enabled quiz mode for my midterm and saved, but I don’t know whether students will see their scores immediately or if emails are being collected. I’m worried a wrong release setting will spoil exam security and confuse the registrar. What exactly should I check now, and what’s the fastest way to fix a mistaken release or access setting?

Every term I enable quiz mode and later find anonymous or outside-domain submissions that wreck grading. Where am I losing control in my setup routine, and what two habits should I change so every quiz is created with scores released correctly and with roster emails collected before I publish?
